Control Logic Gates
The control logic gate in a basic computer is identical to the one used in a hardwired control organization.
The block diagram is also similar to the control logic gate used in a hardwired control organization.

Inputs for the control logic circuit:
The inputs for the control logic circuit come from two decoders, a flip-flop, and bits 0 through 11 of the IR.
The additional inputs to the control logic circuit include AC (bits 0 through 15), DR (bits 0 through 15), and the states of the seven flip-flops.
Outputs of the control Logic Circuits.
The control of the inputs for the nine registers
The control of the memory's read and write inputs
To set, clear, or toggle the flip-flops
S2, S1, and S0 are used to select a register for the bus.
